The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rilla shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rilla working the ground and pound effectively.
Cat manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Rilla is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Cat is desperately trying to improve his position but Rilla has a good base and remains in mount.
Rilla working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Cat turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Rilla off and cradles Cat's limp body as Rilla celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). James Rilla!
