Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pierre LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think LePew might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dirty House. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vincent Valentine!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
LePew waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Valentine.
LePew misses with a combination
and Valentine counters with a good low kick that LePew was not able to check.
Valentine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but LePew moves away.
A slow jab from LePew misses its intended target.
LePew throws a right and a left that Valentine avoids nicely.
Valentine lands with a straight right. LePew didn't see that one coming.
Valentine walks into a stiff left hand from LePew.
Valentine on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
LePew connects with a body shot that sends Valentine's belly button to the back.

LePew dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Valentine has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Valentine there as he acknowledges the shot.
Valentine lands a jab.
LePew bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
LePew is trying to move to mount but Valentine reverses beautifully and ends up in LePew's guard.
LePew is trying to keep Valentine in close.

Valentine tries to free his leg and advance position but LePew is retaining full guard.
LePew wants to improve his position but instead Valentine has moved into half guard.

Valentine not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Valentine is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

LePew is landing with some decent strikes but Valentine is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
LePew throwing strikes here but Valentine is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
LePew fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Valentine looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

LePew fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Valentine manages to avoid it.
Valentine fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
LePew lands a nice hook to Valentine's body. Valentine takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
LePew throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
LePew shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than LePew was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

LePew throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Valentine because LePew loaded up on that one.
LePew has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

LePew misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
LePew thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

LePew unloads with some shots from mount but Valentine bucks and avoids them well.
LePew postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Valentine looks a forlorn figure.
Poor strikes thrown by LePew there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

LePew jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Valentine is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Valentine and LePew has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Valentine is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
LePew has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Valentine!
LePew is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Valentine can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

LePew wants to control the pace but Valentine is squirming around nicely.

LePew throws some wild stikes that Valentine manages to avoid easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, LePew cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
LePew cracks Valentine with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Valentine wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by LePew.

Valentine throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Valentine throws a jab but it's blocked by LePew.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as LePew lands an impressive looking overhand right. Valentine doesn't seem phased though.
Valentine swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

LePew scores with a one two! Valentine had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
LePew ducks under a wild hook from Valentine.
LePew misses with a takedown
and Valentine counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
LePew fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Valentine sprawls well initially but LePew persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
LePew is keen to just control but Valentine is a slippery customer.
LePew is stalling here. Valentine is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! LePew seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Valentine has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now LePew is on top in guard.
Pierre LePew overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
