Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and International Male (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rickson Gracie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rickson Gracie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Male gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Male throws a leg kick but Gracie sees it coming and moves out of range.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. International Male wasn't active enough on the ground.
Gracie wants to clinch.
Male tries to land a front kick but Gracie steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Gracie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gracie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Male - the referee stops the clock and Gracie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Male. Gracie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Male tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie prevents Male from standing back up.
Gracie throws a strike but Male avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

International Male showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Male keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Good leg kick by Male there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Crunch! Male slams his shin into Gracie's torso.
Gracie tries to clinch there but Male circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

International Male comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
