The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partner throws a half hearted mid kick.
Partner throws a leg kick that is checked
and Brophy counters with a nice double leg into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Brophy is stalling in the full guard.
Brophy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Brophy stands and throws Partner's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Partner is letting Brophy control him for a moment.
Partner is trying to buck Brophy off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brophy has an Americana. Partner didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Brophy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Brophy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
