The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dollar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Masters circles away.
Masters stuffs the takedown attempt from Dollar. Dollar gets slowly back to his feet.

Dollar scores a takedown into full mount!
Masters can't escape the position.
Dollar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Masters looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Dollar has the hooks in. Masters is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Masters breaks Dollar's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Masters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Masters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Masters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dollar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Masters stuffs the takedown.

Dollar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Masters gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Dollar counters with a single leg into guard. Masters didn't expect that.

Dollar wants to get up but he can't break Masters's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Masters looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dollar has picked Masters up and slammed him! Masters can't keep hold of the triangle and Dollar manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dollar is breathing heavily.
Masters manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Dollar is trying to control the action in half guard but Masters is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Masters tries to get to full guard but Dollar has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Masters has his foot on Dollar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dollar works his way back into a safe position though.

Masters moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Masters looking for a triangle here. Dollar is fighting it but it looks tight! Masters pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Dollar is tapping out - this one is all over!
