Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruben Valderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Valderon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to avoid it but Valderon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogers to the ground. Rogers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ruben Valderon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valderon shoots in and bounces Rogers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Valderon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rogers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Valderon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rogers - the referee stops the clock and Valderon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rogers. Valderon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
