The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jobber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Somme, pushing him back against the cage.
Somme pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Somme drives through and clinches with Jobber against the cage.
Somme manages to break the clinch.
Kenneth Somme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Somme connects with an inside leg kick.
Jobber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Somme, pushing him back against the cage.
Somme breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Somme scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jobber closes the distance and clinches.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Somme is trying to trip Jobber. He has hold of a leg but Jobber is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Somme persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Somme controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Somme stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Jobber tries to keep at a distance but Somme has taken the fight into the clinch.
Somme scores with a shoulder strike.
Somme lands a big left hand right to the temple and Jobber goes down!
Jobber is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Somme lands a big elbow - Jobber is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Somme!
