The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyle closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Graham quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lyle postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Graham to stand up.
Graham tries to sprawl but Lyle drives through with a takedown into half guard.

That's time! Lyle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Graham pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lyle misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lyle throws the kick towards the body but Graham avoids it.
Graham wants to clinch but Lyle slips to the side
and Lyle counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Graham!

Lyle tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Graham is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Graham has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Lyle is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
