The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sanchez tries to clinch but Jones moves away
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
Jones takes a kick to the side of the head.
Sanchez tries to clinch
and Jones counters with a nice leg kick.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
Jones scores with a jab. Sanchez acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jones connects with an inside leg kick.
Sanchez tries to clinch up
and Jones counters with a leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanchez tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanchez was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Sanchez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sanchez darts in trying to clinch
and Jones makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Jones takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sanchez wants to clinch but Jones slips to the side
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sanchez is looking to land body kicks.
Sanchez moves to clinch but Jones breaks away
and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sanchez.
Jones is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Sanchez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rico Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez moves into the clinch.
Jones lands with a light punch inside.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sanchez misses with an elbow over the top.
Sanchez swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sanchez wants to clinch
and Jones counters with a low kick, right behind Sanchez 's knee.
A head kick from Jones lands but Sanchez takes it in his stride.
Jones throws a low kick, looking for Sanchez's leg but Sanchez calmly moves out of range.
Jones with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Jones is looking to slow Sanchez down with leg kicks.
Sanchez tries to clinch but Jones moves away
and Jones counters with a good low kick that Sanchez was not able to check.
Sanchez looks gassed!
Sanchez misses with a right hand
and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sanchez eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sanchez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A jab from Jones finds it's way through Sanchez's defenses.
Sanchez is rocked!
Jones lands with a nice body punch.
Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Sanchez takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sanchez seems to have recovered his senses.
Sanchez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.
Sanchez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jones lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sanchez at a distance.
Jones lands a nice shot to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jones counters with a left and a right that stings Sanchez.
Jones rushes Sanchez with punches - Sanchez moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Sanchez goes down! Jones follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucifer Jones!
