Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emory Majors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Emory Majors has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Emory Majors seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emory Majors! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doc Holliday! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Majors rushes Holliday and presses him up against the cage. Holliday gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Holliday cracks Majors with a solid left hand. Majors working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holliday doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holliday manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Holliday working some strikes from top position. Majors wriggles free and stands up. Holliday closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Holliday lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Majors has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Holliday is working away from the top position though. Majors is not content to let Holliday control the position. Holliday is thwarting Majors's attempts to control the position.

Majors moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Majors wants to stand and escape but Holliday is having none of it. Holliday wants to control from the top but Majors keeps moving. Majors is pressing down on Holliday's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Majors wants to stand up but Holliday is controlling him. Majors is adopting a defensive guard. Holliday slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Holliday advances to half guard. Majors preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Majors looking for submissions off his back. Majors trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Holliday manages to pass to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Majors is wriggling around trying to escape.
Majors regains half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Majors avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Holliday. This has been an exciting period of action! Holliday seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Majors does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Majors slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doc Holliday dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Holliday keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Majors tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Holliday misses with a right hand and Majors moves into the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Holliday has Majors pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Holliday pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Majors tumbling to the mat - Holliday dives into Majors's guard. Majors looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Holliday cracks Majors with a solid left hand. Majors keeping moving, preventing Holliday from controlling successfully. Majors is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Holliday is refusing to be controlled, as Majors sits in half guard. Majors wants to work for an arm triangle but Holliday is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Majors stands up from guard. Let's bang! Holliday shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Majors manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Majors is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Holliday missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Majors controls Holliday momentarily but Holliday frees himself. Holliday passes into half guard. Holliday is working for a kimura but Majors is defending it quite comfortably.

Holliday looking to sit in guard and control but Majors gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Holliday keeping moving, preventing Majors from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Doc Holliday will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Majors moves out of range of the strikes. Majors forces Holliday back against the cage and clinches. Holliday has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Majors clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Majors defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Majors wriggles onto his back under a barage of strikes. Majors is wriggling around trying to escape.
Majors tries to hold on but Holliday pushes him away.

Holliday looks to land a strike but Majors avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Holliday's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Holliday wants to control from the top but Majors keeps moving. Holliday is pushing down on Majors's leg trying to pass to half guard. Majors is fighting to maintain full guard but Holliday has managed to sneak the leg through. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Holliday is keen to just control but Majors is a slippery customer. Majors works his way to full guard. Good work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Holliday throws a big right hand that misses. Emory Majors has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Holliday is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
