Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buakaw Kit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vince Brasil! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kit throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brasil takes a swing at Kit's ribcage but misses. Buakaw Kit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brasil misses with a hook. Brasil lands a really nice looking cross but Kit seems unphased.
Brasil misses with a wild combination.
Kit lands with a nice body kick. Kit fakes the leg kick and cracks Brasil in the body. Kit throws a leg kick but Brasil checks it. Brasil blocks a head kick by Kit.
Kit tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Brasil is able to avoid easily. Kit pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kit throws a head kick that misses. Kit tries a head kick but it misses.
Brasil lands a jab-cross combination. Brasil keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kit tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brasil was well out of range. Poor timing from Kit. Brasil checks the leg kick nicely there.

Brasil misses with a hook. Kit throws a head kick that misses. Brasil showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kit.
Brasil walks into a left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brasil on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Brasil avoids the head kick by Kit.
Brasil stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Brasil gets the takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Brasil happy to just control the position for now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kit wants to get back to his feet. Kit tries to buck Brasil off but Brasil is having none of it. Brasil wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kit keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Brasil crashes against the mat.
Brasil sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kit is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Brasil tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Kit is looking for a sweep. Brasil taking a breather here. Brasil wants to take a breather but Kit manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Brasil. Kit not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kit keeping moving, preventing Brasil from controlling successfully. Brasil is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Vince Brasil wasn't active enough on the ground. Kit walks into a stiff left hand from Brasil. A head kick from Kit lands but Brasil takes it in his stride. Brasil misses with a takedown attempt - Kit sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kit looks to land a right hand but Brasil moved out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Buakaw Kit will probably get the nod. That's time! Kit's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kit does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Kit tries a head kick but it misses.
Kit pivots, looking for a leg kick but Brasil is out of range and Kit settles back down. Kit finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Brasil scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Kit's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brasil connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kit scrambles back to his feet. Kit throws a lazy head kick and Brasil counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kit defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brasil. Kit throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brasil shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kit defends it nicely. Kit throws a leg kick letting Brasil counter with a right hand. Buakaw Kit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brasil tries for a takedown but Kit sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Buakaw Kit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vince Brasil. Kit throws a low kick but Brasil moves out of range easily. Kit throws a head kick but Brasil moves out of range.

Kit stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kit wants it to stay on the feet. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kit.
Buakaw Kit is winning the standup battle so far. Kit uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brasil. Brasil tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kit sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brasil somewhat. Kit throws a lazy uppercut
and Brasil makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kit misses with a leg kick and Brasil counters with a left to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kit takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Brasil has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kit thows a leg kick but Brasil checks it letting Brasil counter with a right hand. Vince Brasil is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A lazy left from Brasil finds it's target. Kit misses with a hook
and Brasil counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kit slaps away a takedown attempt from Brasil, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kit throws a low kick, looking for Brasil's leg but Brasil calmly moves out of range. Brasil smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Brasil bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kit is not content to let Brasil control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kit is trying to get back to his feet. Kit is trying to improve his position. Kit seems a little lost for a moment, as Brasil dominates the positioning. Brasil stands up. Brasil throws a jab but it's blocked by Kit.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brasil avoids the head kick by Kit.
Kit tries to score with a low kick but Brasil moves his leg out of the way. Kit throws a right and a left that both miss. Sloppy strikes from Kit. Those never looked like landing. Kit leaves Brasil with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brasil takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kit throws a right hand that misses
letting Brasil counter with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vince Brasil showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Kit walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brasil checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Brasil drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brasil trying to control the action but Kit is working from the bottom. Brasil postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kit is not content to let Brasil control the position. Kit trying to remain calm as Brasil controls from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brasil wants to take a breather but Kit manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Brasil. Kit wants to stand up but Brasil is controlling him. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brasil accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brasil controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kit keeping moving, preventing Brasil from controlling successfully.

Brasil throws an overhand right that lands on Kit's shoulder, as Kit tries to avoid the shot. Good shot there by Brasil. Kit thows a leg kick but Brasil checks it and Brasil connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Brasil stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Brasil jabs Kit to the body, keeping him at a distance. Brasil shoots in looking for a takedown but Kit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brasil's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Brasil misses with a looping right. Kit scores with a leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brasil fails with a takedown attempt. Kit looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Kit throws a sloppy head kick and Brasil moves out of range easily. A head kick misses from Kit. A punch combination from Brasil misses. Brasil checks a leg kick nicely. Brasil lands a nice shot to the body.
Kit cracks Brasil with a good jab. Kit scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brasil looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Buakaw Kit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vince Brasil. Brasil takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kit misses with a right hand and Brasil counters with a straight right hand. Brasil lands a two punch combo.
Kit looks to throw the jab but Brasil is out of range. Kit scores with a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kit swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brasil tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Brasil looks to land a right hand but Kit moved out of range. Kit misses with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Vince Brasil. I think Brasil has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
