Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Bullit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bullit comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Hopo has chosen Bodies as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damien Bullit!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hessu Hopo!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hopo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bullit circles away quickly and effectively.
Bullit is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hopo.

Hopo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Hopo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hopo uses his free foot to push down on Bullit's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bullit.

Hopo has control of Bullit's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bullit regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hopo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bullit has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bullit and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hopo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bullit sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hopo somewhat.

Hopo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hopo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bullit circles away.

Hopo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bullit doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hopo connects with a nice short shot to Bullit's temple.
