The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nice jab there from Nunes.
Sobral showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nunes.
Sobral moves away from the strike by Nunes.
Nunes lands with a hook. Sobral tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nunes looks to land a left hand but Sobral moved out of range nicely.
Nunes lands with a nice body punch.
Sobral dives in and grabs Nunes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nunes pushes down on Sobral's head and hops out.
Sobral shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sobral showed some decent athleticism there.
Sobral seems to be working for a kimura but Nunes defends the submission attempt.
