Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Filip Mirkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferenc Pap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pap has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirkovic throws a right and a left that Pap avoids nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mirkovic enables Pap to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mirkovic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Filip Mirkovic will probably get the nod.

Pap has hold of Mirkovic's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mirkovic manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pap jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mirkovic manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Pap has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mirkovic is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pap yanks on the arm and Mirkovic is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pap.
