The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurminen wants to clinch.
A head kick misses from Mccarthey.
Mccarthey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mccarthey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Mccarthey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nurminen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nurminen drives through and clinches with Mccarthey against the cage.

Oh Mccarthey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nurminen dips a shoulder and cracks Mccarthey with a mighty uppercut! Mccarthey falls back against the cage and Nurminen unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mccarthey is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Nurminen screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
