Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Milano Mazric! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Dragon! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mazric misses with the combination.
Dragon shoots for a takedown but Mazric saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dragon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mazric sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dragon somewhat. Mazric stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mazric wants it to stay on the feet. Milano Mazric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Dragon. Dragon shoots for a double leg takedown but Mazric sprawls well. He's pushed Dragon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dragon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mazric sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dragon somewhat. Dragon fails with the takedown. Dragon shoots in looking for a takedown but Mazric manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dragon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dragon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dragon lands in his opponent's guard. Mazric is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dragon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dragon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mazric is proving hard to escape from. Dragon looks gassed! Mazric throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mazric pushes a forearm under Dragon's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dragon is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
