Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Jordan Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Jordan Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Henry!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry throws a right hand that misses
and Jordan Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jordan Jr throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jordan Jr misses with a body shot.
Jordan Jr misses with a double jab.
Henry takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Henry misses with a looping left.
Jordan Jr connects with an inside leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Jordan Jr as Henry shoots in.
Jordan Jr leaves Henry with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A nice inside leg kick there by Jordan Jr. That's going to slow Henry down.

Henry shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jordan Jr manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jordan Jr wants to stand but Henry is controlling the position.
Jordan Jr has momentary wrist control but Henry slips an elbow through the middle.
Henry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jordan Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Henry throws a strike but Jordan Jr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Henry wants to stand up but Jordan Jr is controlling him.

Jordan Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Henry wants to get back to his feet but Jordan Jr is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jordan Jr sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Joe Jordan Jr just wasn't active enough.
Henry ducks right into an uppercut from Jordan Jr.

Robert Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henry wants to clinch up but Jordan Jr keeps it at a distance.
Jordan Jr throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Henry thows a body shot but no joy.
Joe Jordan Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Henry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jordan Jr tries to avoid it but Henry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jordan Jr to the ground. Jordan Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Henry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jordan Jr but Jordan Jr pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Henry is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jordan Jr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jordan Jr lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Jordan Jr moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Henry tries to bum rush Jordan Jr with a series of wild strikes but Jordan Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A solid leg kick lands there for Jordan Jr.
Henry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jordan Jr swivels and escapes.
Henry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jordan Jr's waist but Jordan Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Henry off to one side.
Henry needs to keep his hands up - Jordan Jr had a free shot at his head there.
Jordan Jr lunges at Henry with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Henry's hand.
Jordan Jr cracks a nice hook into Henry's ribs.
Joe Jordan Jr is winning the standup battle so far.

Henry shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jordan Jr as he avoids it easily.

Jordan Jr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Henry. That did some damage!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Henry closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jordan Jr, as that shot connected.
Jordan Jr is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Jordan Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jordan Jr.
Jordan Jr lands with a good body shot.
Jordan Jr lands with a straight right. Henry didn't see that one coming.
Jordan Jr lands with a nice combination. Henry backs away looking to recover.
Jordan Jr turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Henry looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Henry wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jordan Jr has him pressed against the cage.

Jordan Jr effectively controlling the action here.
A frustrated look appears on Henry's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Henry's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Henry tries to circle away but Jordan Jr has him pinned against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jordan Jr takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Jordan Jr keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Henry's efforts to push away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joe Jordan Jr.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jordan Jr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
