Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Schmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Walison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmo's entrance music is Sound of Madness- Shinedown. A fine choice. Lewis Walison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Schmo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmo stuffs the takedown.
Walison shoots for a takedown but Schmo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Walison shoots in but no luck this time.
Joe Schmo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lewis Walison.
Walison shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schmo as he jumps to the side.
Walison closes this distance looking for a takedown but Schmo circles away.
Schmo lands a two punch combo.
Walison shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Schmo but Schmo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Walison moves in looking to clinch but Schmo pushes him off.
Schmo scores with a jab.
Walison takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Schmo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A nice combination there by Schmo.
Walison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Schmo wants to stand up but Walison is controlling him.
Schmo pushes Walison off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Lewis Walison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Walison takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Walison throws a front kick that sends Schmo stumbling back into the cage.

Schmo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Schmo wants to break free but Walison has control.

Walison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Schmo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Schmo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Schmo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Schmo lands a glancing blow to the side of Walison's head.

and Schmo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Schmo is looking to wear down Walison with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Walison closes the distance and clinches up with Schmo, looking for a takedown. Walison pushes Schmo against the cage but Schmo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Schmo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Schmo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Schmo drops Walison with a naaaaasty hook - Walison is in real trouble here! Schmo dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
