Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Thomason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marchimel Suyat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suyat is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bodies. Marchimel Suyat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marchimel Suyat!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomason shoots for a takedown but Suyat saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Suyat on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Suyat moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Suyat misses the target.
Thomason takes one to the chin there.
Suyat with a hook.
Suyat throws a body kick that misses.

Thomason closes the distance and pushes Suyat back into the cage.
Thomason drops down looking for an ankle pick but Suyat pulls his leg out and moves away.

Good work by Suyat as he checks the leg kick.
Suyat clobbers Thomason with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Thomason holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thomason is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Suyat pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Suyat fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Thomason looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Thomason fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Suyat ducks right into an uppercut from Thomason.

Thomason attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Thomason feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Suyat's calf.

I would just about give that final round to Marchimel Suyat.
Well Thomason has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
