Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Ryrik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaebis Chetko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zaebis Chetko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ryrik has Chetko up against the cage in a clinch.

Ryrik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Ryrik counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ryrik.

Chetko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ryrik can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ryrik changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chetko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ryrik is taking a breather. Chetko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Chetko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ryrik does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Chetko might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ryrik kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

It looks like Chetko is going to stand back up.
Chetko frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Chetko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ryrik is looking to escape.

Ryrik is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Chetko takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chetko wants to get back to his feet but Ryrik is holding on tight.

Zaebis Chetko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Chetko moves out of range of the body kick from Ryrik.
Chetko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Chetko lands a head kick. Ryrik smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Chetko throws a hook to the side of Ryrik's head but Ryrik sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ryrik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ryrik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chetko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ryrik has managed to get both his arms back between Chetko's legs - danger averted.

Ryrik's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Chetko wants to control but Ryrik is keeping busy.

Chetko is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ryrik has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
You can see the frustration on Ryrik's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
