Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Ray Vale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mizuro Goenji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goenji has chosen Slipknot - Duality as his entrance music. Kenneth Ray Vale could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mizuro Goenji's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenneth Ray Vale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mizuro Goenji! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vale throws a right hand that Goenji ducks under and follows up with a left that Goenji also avoids with ease. Goenji defending well as Vale loads up on a big left hand. Goenji walks into a straight right hand from Vale. Goenji misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vale lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Goenji fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Vale misses with a hook. Goenji wants to clinch. Goenji steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vale. Goenji keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vale. Goenji tries to clinch there but Vale circles away.
A big right from Vale misses. Vale throws a combination. Goenji tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Goenji is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vale ducks under a wild hook from Goenji. Vale blocks a head kick by Goenji.
Vale throws a poor cross that misses
and Goenji counters with a takedown into side control. Goenji landing strikes. Goenji working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goenji tries for a kimura but Vale is defending well. Goenji looks up at the clock and then as Vale takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Goenji smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Goenji wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vale keeps working. Vale is working to avoid the ground and pound but Goenji connects with a decent elbow. Vale is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Goenji lands a nice forearm strike. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Vale tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Goenji has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Vale is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Vale tries to roll but Goenji sticks to his back.
Goenji trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Vale doesn't escape. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Goenji is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goenji has the hooks in. Vale is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Vale looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Goenji has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Vale's body.
Goenji is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Vale won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Goenji off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mizuro Goenji!
