Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kai Gi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Arcinas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kai Gi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Red Arcinas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kai Gi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Red Arcinas!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arcinas shoots and misses
and Gi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gi.
Stalling in the clinch from Gi.
Gi lands an elbow inside that Arcinas shrugs off.
Gi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Arcinas fails with the takedown
and Gi moves into the clinch.
Gi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Arcinas regains guard immediately.
Gi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Gi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Arcinas, who protects the arm well.
Gi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Arcinas has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gi but great work by Arcinas.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gi gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gi keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Arcinas is working for a submission of some sort.
Arcinas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gi looking for submissions off his back.
Gi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Arcinas.
Gi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Arcinas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Arcinas's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gi is working for a rear naked choke. Arcinas is not defending it well and Gi has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Arcinas refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Arcinas's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kai Gi!
