Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Meadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeke Ramero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramero has chosen The Spade Ramero — Real Thugs as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Meadows! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zeke Ramero! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramero looks to land a body kick but Meadows moved away. Ramero fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Meadows sprawls well initially but Ramero persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ramero thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Meadows's head. Ramero throwing shots but Meadows is blocking nicely. Ramero drops an elbow to the side of Meadows's head. Meadows makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Meadows. Ramero postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Meadows is trying to control the position but Ramero postures up. Ramero is looking to advance position but Meadows has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Ramero tries to reverse the position but Meadows maintains control. Ramero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Meadows. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ramero throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Meadows trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meadows blocks Ramero's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Ramero is bucking up trying to escape but Meadows cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Ramero is working to get back to half guard.
Ramero's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramero manages to regain half guard. Good work. Ramero has a hand on Meadows's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Meadows takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Meadows trying to control but Ramero is having none of it. Ramero is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Meadows wants to control the pace but Ramero is squirming around nicely. Ramero tries to lock up and control but Meadows gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Meadows trying to control but he's not successful this time. Meadows with shots to the head and body - Ramero looks very uncomfortable down there. This has been an exciting period of action! Ramero is looking to improve his position but Meadows isn't that keen on the idea. Ramero wants to hold on but Meadows pushes him away. Ramero really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramero tries to hold on but Meadows postures up. Meadows wants to control the pace but Ramero is squirming around nicely. Meadows looking to finish Ramero with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ramero! Ramero gives up his back whilst trying to strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramero tries to escape the position.
Will Meadows go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Ramero trying to control the hands but Meadows breaks the grip. Ramero looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Meadows looking to soften up his opponent with punches.

A close round but Zeke Ramero will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Nice defenses there by Ramero. Ramero tries to score a power double leg takedown but Meadows sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ramero somewhat. Meadows misses with a straight left. Ramero drives through with a takedown into Meadows's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Ramero is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ramero throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Meadows works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ramero postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ramero keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Meadows's head. Meadows looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ramero passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Meadows flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ramero throws a strike but Meadows manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Ramero tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!
