Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pvt. Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Nevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mullen and Alexandr Nevsky. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pvt. Mullen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexandr Nevsky!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevsky moves out of range of the strikes.
Nevsky shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mullen as he avoids it easily.

Mullen has Nevsky up against the cage in a clinch.
Mullen stops a takedown attempt from Nevsky.
Mullen digs a right hand into Nevsky's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Nevsky's gas tank.
Mullen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Nevsky is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Mullen lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Nevsky.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mullen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nevsky's elbow.
Mullen can't find room to land a body shot as Nevsky controls the action.
Nevsky drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pvt. Mullen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexandr Nevsky.
Mullen gets through Nevsky's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A right hand to the body from Mullen.

Mullen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nevsky's elbow.
Nevsky managing to block the knees to the body from Mullen.

Mullen breaks from the clinch.
Mullen connects with an inside leg kick.
Mullen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mullen wants it to stay on the feet.
Nevsky checks a leg kick.
Mullen misses the shot to the body.
Nevsky keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Mullen catches Nevsky with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mullen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Mullen is looking to chop away at Nevsky's legs.

Mullen gets a clinch.
Mullen lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Nevsky or not.
Mullen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nevsky is defending well for now.
Mullen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nevsky backwards.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nevsky is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mullen pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Mullen tries to land knees in the clinch but Nevsky avoids the damage to the body.
Mullen struggles to land a body shot inside as Nevsky controls his hands.
Mullen pushes Nevsky back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A short body shot lands from Mullen as the two fighters clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nevsky has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mullen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pvt. Mullen dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Mullen is looking to chop away at Nevsky's legs.
Nevsky shoots in and drives through. Mullen sprawls well.
Nevsky checks a leg kick nicely.
Nevsky tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mullen swivels and escapes.
Mullen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mullen wants it to stay on the feet.
Pvt. Mullen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexandr Nevsky.
Nevsky throws out a leg kick but Mullen moves out of range and Nevsky only half commits.
Mullen lands a jab to Nevsky's midsection.
Mullen feints a jab promting Nevsky to slip. Mullen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nevsky slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Alexandr Nevsky has been cut.
Mullen with a jab.

Nevsky takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Good exchange - Mullen coming out on top.
A shot to the liver by Mullen. Beautiful body shot.
Nevsky is breathing heavily.
Mullen moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mullen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mullen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Pvt. Mullen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mullen throws a nice inside leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nevsky takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mullen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Nevsky's calf.
Mullen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Mullen lands a jab to Nevsky's midsection.
Nevsky is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mullen is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Nevsky.

Mullen takes the fight into the clinch.
Mullen lands an elbow that stopped Nevsky in his tracks for a moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mullen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Mullen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nevsky can do to turn this around?
A nice right hand lands inside from Mullen.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mullen.
A short body shot lands from Mullen as the two fighters clinch.
Nevsky is working for takedown but Mullen is calmly controlling the position for now.
Nevsky is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mullen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Nevsky wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Mullen - that landed with a thud.
Nevsky blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mullen lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


That has opened up Alexandr Nevsky's cut even more.
Nevsky wants to get back to striking at distance but Mullen won't allow it.
Mullen lands on the inside with an uppercut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mullen lands a nice shot to the body.
Mullen gets underhooks to prevent Nevsky's takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pvt. Mullen dominated that second round.

Mullen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


Nevsky is rocked!
BAM! Mullen delivers a spinning backfist that drops Nevsky like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Pvt. Mullen!
Pvt. Mullen decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
