Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Misha Botsman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Misha Botsman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in but no luck this time. Jones defending well as Botsman loads up on a big left hand. Botsman throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it. Jones's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Botsman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jones scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Botsman. Botsman lands the left hand.
Jones is rocked! Nice defenses there by Jones. Botsman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Botsman blocks nicely. Jones stays in close to Botsman's body and controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Botsman blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Botsman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Botsman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jon Jones. Nice takedown defense from Botsman. No joy for Jones on that attempt. Botsman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Botsman sprawls well. Botsman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Misha Botsman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones. Jones moves away from the strike by Botsman.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Botsman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Botsman throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jones counters with a good, hard body kick but Botsman shrugs it off. Botsman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Jones counter with a right hand. Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Botsman avoids it really well and circles away. Jones slips a jab and a cross from Botsman.
Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones tries to pull guard but Botsman won't allow it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones has Botsman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Botsman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Botsman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is working for takedown but Botsman is calmly controlling the position for now. Jones manages to break the clinch.
Botsman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Misha Botsman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Botsman misses with a looping right. Misha Botsman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Botsman, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Botsman against the cage but Botsman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Botsman connects with the punch. Botsman throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Jones stumbling backwards into the cage! Jones bounces back off the cage towards Botsman, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Botsman lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Botsman celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Misha Botsman!
