Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Baran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Ennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baran's entrance music is Beach Boys - Barbara Ann . A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Ennis!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baran throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ennis misses with an uppercut.
Baran connects with a leg kick. Ennis looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Baran makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
It looks like James Ennis has been cut.
Baran gets through Ennis's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Baran scores with a nice hook to the head.
Baran scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Ennis looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baran is pressed up against the cage. Ennis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Baran down to the mat. Baran avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Baran lands a big head kick that sends Ennis tumbling to the mat! Baran takes a step backwards and waves Ennis back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ennis is rocked!
A nice leg kick lands there from Baran.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Baran. Ennis shrugs it off though.
Whack! Baran lands a heavy head kick that drops Ennis. The ref tackles Baran to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ennis was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Bob Baran!
