Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Cena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cena comes to the cage accompanied by My Time is Now. Christian Guzman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guzman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cena's waist but Cena gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guzman off to one side.
Cena pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Guzman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cena paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cena dodges the punch combination from Guzman.
Guzman misses with a body kick.
Guzman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Guzman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cena tries to avoid it but Guzman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cena to the ground. Cena escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
John Cena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Guzman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Guzman tries to close the distance and clinch but Cena swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Guzman shoots in for a double leg but Cena sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Guzman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Guzman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cena is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Guzman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cena's back instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Cena will probably get the nod.
