Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a chopping leg kick but Vanderhorst manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Davis tries to land a front kick but Vanderhorst steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Davis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vanderhorst.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Vanderhorst rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Davis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Davis throws a hook but Vanderhorst blocks it.
Davis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vanderhorst's head backwards.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Davis crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vanderhorst - the referee stops the clock and Davis gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vanderhorst. Davis manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vanderhorst takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
