The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rabi rushes Roars and presses him up against the cage. Rabi looking to slow down the pace here. Rabi is trying to trip Roars. He has hold of a leg but Roars is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rabi persists though and gets the takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Rabi trying to control the position from guard on top but Roars is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rabi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rabi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Roars should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Roars manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Roars with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Roars is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rabi has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rabi! Roars has a closed guard, preventing Rabi from standing up. Roars working for a triangle but Rabi defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Roars looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rabi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rabi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rabi is looking for a kimura but Roars is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rabi to get the leverage. Rabi stalling. Roars looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roars actively working from the bottom here. Rabi frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Roars really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rabi trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rabi goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Roars turns into him and now he's in Rabi's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roars got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rabi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roars has managed to get both his arms back between Rabi's legs - danger averted. Rabi keeping moving, preventing Roars from controlling successfully. Rabi tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gracie Rabi will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rabi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rabi's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rabi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roars's guard. Rabi is working for a kimura but Roars is defending it quite comfortably.

Rabi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Roars wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Rabi.
Roars holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Rabi tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rabi connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rabi looking to control but Roars is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gracie Rabi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Roars gets back to half guard. Rabi seems to be working for a kimura but Roars defends the submission attempt. Roars is trying to control but can't.

Gracie Rabi dominated that second round. That's time! Rabi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Roars throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rabi's waist but Rabi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roars off to one side. Gracie Rabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rabi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rabi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rabi wants to stand but Roars is controlling his arm. Rabi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Roars has escaped the position, nice work there. Rabi cracks Roars with a big elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rabi trying to control the position but Roars is working away. Roars is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rabi off and has taken his back! Rabi fending off the submission attempt from Roars. Roars patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Roars working for a choke but Rabi reverses nicely into Roars 's guard. Roars takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rabi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roars throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rabi uses it to pass to side control.
Rabi wants to stand but Roars has his arm trapped. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rabi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Rabi working the head with strikes. Rabi trying to control the action but Roars is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roars manages to get back to half guard. Roars is not content to let Rabi control the position. Roars keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Roars has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Rabi. Oh but Roars has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Rabi goes limp - he's gone! Roars jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
