Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Siska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jonny Siska has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jonny Siska seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonny Siska! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Davis! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siska scores a takedown into full mount! Siska thowing shots but they're missing. Davis is working to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Siska unloading with bombs! Davis sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Siska is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Davis wants to control the action here but instead Siska manages to pass to full mount! Siska misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Siska. Siska goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Davis is on top in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Siska is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Siska is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davis won't allow Siska to sweep him here. Davis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Davis works a leg free and moves into half guard. Davis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis is just content to waste time from the top position. Siska takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Davis trying to control but Siska is working from the bottom. Davis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Siska has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davis has managed to get both his arms back between Siska's legs - danger averted. Davis wants to control from the top but Siska keeps moving. Davis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Davis trying to control but Siska is working from the bottom. Davis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Siska kicks Davis off and gets to his feet. Davis cracks Siska with an open hand slap.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Siska takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Jonny Siska has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Siska throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davis's waist but Davis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Siska off to one side. Siska shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis tries to sprawl out of it but Siska keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The fight stays on the outside here - Davis looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Davis works over Siska's head and body with a nice combination. Siska shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonny Siska. That's going to take a lot out of him. Siska is breathing heavily. Oooooh!!! Davis has knocked Siska down with a huge combo! Davis steps away and waves a wobbly Siska back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Davis lands a hook that stumbles Siska back into the cage. Davis follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Siska to the canvas! Davis pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Siska has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Marcus Davis!
