Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christer Pettersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee has chosen McGee as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettersson missing with a left hand there. Mcgee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mcgee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pettersson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Pettersson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mcgee manages to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgee is defended easily by Pettersson.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mcgee.
Christer Pettersson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timothy Mcgee.
Mcgee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pettersson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcgee somewhat.
Timothy Mcgee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pettersson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mcgee.
Mcgee takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pettersson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mcgee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
No joy there for Mcgee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pettersson throws a hook but Mcgee blocks it.

Pettersson connects with an inside leg kick.
Mcgee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pettersson avoids it really well and circles away.
Pettersson tries a low kick but Mcgee avoids it.
Donk. Pettersson catches Mcgee right on the button with a cross.
Pettersson misses with a kick to the body.
Pettersson throws a shot to the body.
Mcgee looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pettersson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pettersson throws a series of punches but Mcgee moves out of range.
Pettersson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pettersson takes a swing at Mcgee's ribcage but misses.
Mcgee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pettersson as he avoids it easily.
Pettersson lunges at Mcgee with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mcgee's hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pettersson punishes Mcgee's body with a nice straight punch.
Pettersson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mcgee drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pettersson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mcgee's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
