Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sloan Erak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Vandecaveye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sloan Erak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeffrey Vandecaveye! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vandecaveye looks for a takedown but Erak sprawls well. Vandecaveye shoots in for a takedown but Erak shows good takedown defense. The fight moves into the clinch position. Erak pulls guard. Vandecaveye really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Erak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Vandecaveye wants to control from the top but Erak keeps moving. Erak is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Vandecaveye trying to control but Erak is working from the bottom. Erak wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vandecaveye is looking to stand up but Erak won't let him. Vandecaveye preventing the sweep. Erak keeping moving, preventing Vandecaveye from controlling successfully. Erak looking to control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Erak takes the fight into the clinch. Vandecaveye tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Erak just stands there and leans against the cage. Sloan Erak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Vandecaveye. Vandecaveye tries to score a body lock takedown but Erak shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Erak lands a takedown into guard.
Vandecaveye wants to stand and escape but Erak is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Erak drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Erak jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Erak tries to free his leg and advance position but Vandecaveye is retaining full guard. Vandecaveye isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Erak stacks Vandecaveye on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Erak! Vandecaveye looks gassed! Erak working the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Vandecaveye's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Vandecaveye dodges the ground and pound from Erak.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vandecaveye wants to control but Erak postures up. Erak postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Erak tries to advance to mount but Vandecaveye denies him. Vandecaveye tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Vandecaveye is looking to get to half guard. Erak thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Erak is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Vandecaveye tries to clinch but fails miserably and Erak counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Erak.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Erak pulls guard. Vandecaveye thows a big elbow that misses. Vandecaveye stands and throws Erak's legs to the side, diving into side control. Erak wants to control but Vandecaveye postures up. Erak regains half guard. Erak trying to control but Vandecaveye postures up.
Erak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Vandecaveye tries to stand but can't do so whilst Erak controls his leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sloan Erak dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Erak clinches up with Vandecaveye and pushes him back against the cage. Vandecaveye has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Erak avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Erak fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Erak tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vandecaveye just stands there and leans against the cage. Vandecaveye wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Vandecaveye throws a right hand that Erak ducks under and follows up with a left that Erak also avoids with ease. Erak shoots in but Vandecaveye avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sloan Erak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vandecaveye ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vandecaveye closes the distance but Erak moves to the side and Erak counters with a nice double leg into guard. Vandecaveye trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Erak looking to sit in guard and control but Vandecaveye gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Vandecaveye must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Erak is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Vandecaveye stopping the sweep attempt from Erak. Erak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Vandecaveye is kicking away at Erak from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Erak grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Vandecaveye trying to push Erak off... Vandecaveye taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Sloan Erak!
