Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dog Beta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Beta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Wilkins! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beta tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Beta throws a poor cross that misses
and Wilkins counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Beta's guard now. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Wilkins thows a big elbow that misses. Wilkins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Beta preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wilkins slips nicely into half guard. Beta is refusing to be controlled, as Wilkins sits in half guard. Wilkins looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Wilkins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Wilkins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Beta sees it coming and defends easily. Wilkins thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Beta to regain full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilkins working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkins lands a couple of digs. Wilkins in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Beta keeping moving, preventing Wilkins from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beta wants to sweep but no luck. Beta working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wilkins. Beta wants to stand but Wilkins is controlling the position. Wilkins trying to control but Beta is working from the bottom. Wilkins forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilkins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Beta is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wilkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wilkins's back! Beta not allowing Wilkins to control his hands. Beta is trying to stick to Wilkins's back but Wilkins is turning into Beta. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Beta's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wilkins. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilkins controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Beta preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilkins wants to control from the top but Beta keeps moving. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wilkins in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wilkins's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Wilkins postures up and lands a big shot to Beta's brow. Beta working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilkins looking to pass the guard. Beta is adopting a defensive guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wilkins scores with a jab to the jaw. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilkins stuffs the takedown attempt from Beta. Beta gets slowly back to his feet. Wilkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Beta is just out of range. Beta tries to clinch up but Wilkins circles away and keeps his distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Wilkins dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Beta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wilkins is fending him off so far but Beta persists. Nope, Wilkins circles away and we're back to standing. Wilkins thows a body shot but no joy. Wilkins gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Beta to score an easy takedown into full guard. Beta preventing the sweep. Beta has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Beta engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Wilkins tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wilkins working for submissions but it's allowed Beta to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Beta moves into full mount! Wilkins tries to reverse the position but Beta maintains control. Wilkins is squirming around, avoiding Beta's attempts to control the action. Wilkins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Beta working Wilkins over with strikes here. Wilkins sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Beta seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wilkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Wilkins is looking to improve his position.
Wilkins wants to control but Beta is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wilkins is looking to get back to full guard here but Beta has managed to pass to side control instead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilkins is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Beta is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Beta prevents Wilkins from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilkins is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wilkins tries to lock up and control but Beta gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Beta controlling from mount. Wilkins is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Wilkins is squirming around, avoiding Beta's attempts to control the action. Wilkins is in all sorts of trouble here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beta trying to control but Wilkins is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wilkins wants to hold on but Beta pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilkins fails to land the takedown. Beta on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkins throws a hook but Beta blocks it. A big left from Wilkins misses. Beta feints and as Wilkins raises his hands in defense, Beta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Beta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilkins swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wilkins throws his legs up looking for a submission but Beta uses it to pass to side control.
Wilkins looks to move to half guard but instead Beta has passed into mount! Damn! Wilkins is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilkins is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wilkins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Wilkins regains half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilkins won't allow Beta to pass to mount. Wilkins wants to improve his position but Beta is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilkins desperately trying to maintain half guard. Wilkins is looking to control Beta's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wilkins avoid being mounted? Andy Wilkins has got the better of the ground game so far. Beta passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Wilkins! Beta fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dog Beta. I think Beta has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
