Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid The Choke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Malcolm Hopkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Sid The Choke! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Choke falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hopkins counters with a straight right hand. The Choke misses with a takedown and Hopkins counters with a nice uppercut. Hopkins looks to land a right hand but The Choke moved out of range. The Choke has his takedown stuffed and Hopkins counters with a nice double leg into side control. The Choke won't be happy with that. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hopkins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by The Choke, who protects the arm well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hopkins tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopkins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by The Choke, who protects the arm well. Hopkins controlling the position. The Choke tries to bench press Hopkins off him but Hopkins keeps the position. Hopkins decides to take the fight back to the feet. The Choke closes the distance and clinches up with Hopkins, looking for a takedown. The Choke pushes Hopkins against the cage but Hopkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Malcolm Hopkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sid The Choke. Hopkins misses with a hook. The Choke slips a jab and a cross from Hopkins.
The Choke moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Malcolm Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Choke ducks under a wild hook from Hopkins. The Choke shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hopkins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hopkins controlling the action here. The Choke moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hopkins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Choke is keeping the position for now. Hopkins is working hard here to advance position. The Choke looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hopkins passes into side control.

Hopkins wants to control but The Choke is keeping him busy. The Choke sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The Choke is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hopkins wants to pass to mount but The Choke is defending the position. The Choke is looking to improve his position.
The Choke is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hopkins controlling the pace. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Malcolm Hopkins. Hopkins throws a quick inside leg kick. The Choke drops his hands momentarily and Hopkins takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Choke tries to keep at a distance but Hopkins has taken the fight into the clinch. Hopkins is working The Choke over against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hopkins. Hopkins scores with a shot to the side of The Choke's head. Hopkins lands a hook that snaps the head of The Choke backwards. Hopkins is trying to trip The Choke. He has hold of a leg but The Choke is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hopkins persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hopkins tries to free his leg and advance position but The Choke is retaining full guard. Hopkins wants to control from the top but The Choke keeps moving. The Choke lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The Choke is rocked! Hopkins is looking for a kimura here.
The Choke is still in real trouble! Can Hopkins finish him? Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hopkins in particular looking to stall. The Choke seems to have recovered his senses. Hopkins is looking to take a break and control but The Choke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The Choke looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Still in half guard, Hopkins seems content to control. The fighters are battling for position here. The Choke manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The Choke looking for subs off his back but Hopkins has passed one foot through into half guard.
Hopkins is taking a breather. The Choke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Malcolm Hopkins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Choke actively working from the bottom here. The Choke is defending against the submission attempts here by Hopkins.
Hopkins seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hopkins is trying to control the action in half guard but The Choke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hopkins lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopkins is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hopkins is nestled in close to The Choke, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hopkins is working for a submission of some sort.
The Choke looking for subs from the bottom but Hopkins mounts him! Hopkins lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hopkins takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The Choke in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hopkins stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. The Choke looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hopkins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The Choke can do to turn this around? Hopkins stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. The Choke misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopkins goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The Choke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hopkins pinned against the cage. Hopkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hopkins scores with a jab to the head.
The Choke doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Hopkins jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hopkins connects with a nice looking jab.
Hopkins drops The Choke with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hopkins follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
