Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mel Menson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Menson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Back Up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapp with a lazy takedown attempt
and Menson counters with an outside leg kick.
Menson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sapp shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Menson sprawls well. Menson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sapp gets slowly back to his feet.

and Menson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Menson.
Mel Menson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Sapp.
Menson pulls guard effortlessly.
Menson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Sapp tries a body shot but Menson blocks it.
Menson scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Menson pushes Sapp back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Menson pulls guard effortlessly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Menson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Menson wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Menson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Menson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Menson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Menson swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
