Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tomisino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomisino comes to the cage accompanied by St. Anger by Metallica. Velasquez has chosen UFC - Face the Pain as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cain Velasquez! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomisino gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. That's one minute gone in the round. Tomisino controls Velasquez momentarily but Velasquez frees himself. Velasquez throwing strikes from guard but Tomisino blocks nicely. Velasquez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tomisino swivels though and keeps the full guard. Velasquez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Velasquez wants to control from the top but Tomisino keeps moving. Velasquez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tomisino is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Velasquez, into his guard. Velasquez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velasquez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tomisino! Velasquez cracks Tomisino with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tomisino wants to control but Velasquez is having none of it. Velasquez with good strikes from the mount here! The referee warns Tomisino that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tomisino is looking to improve his position but Velasquez isn't that keen on the idea. Velasquez lands a heavy elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velasquez scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tomisino?
