Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Smyth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smyth has chosen RZA - Fatal as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Quid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent Smyth! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smyth blocks the body kick.
Quid misses with a low kick.
Quid misses with an uppercut
letting Smyth counter with a right hand. Quid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smyth moves away. A telegraphed right hand from Quid misses the target. Smyth tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Quid manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Quid throws a body kick that misses. Smyth shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Quid to counter with a crisp jab. Quid just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quid swats away the attempt to clinch by Smyth. Quid scores with a kick to the midsection. Smyth avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Quid throws a leg kick but Smyth sees it coming and checks it nicely. Quid throws a poor cross that misses
and Smyth counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Smyth wants to control but Quid is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quid wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Quid is refusing to be controlled, as Smyth sits in half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Smyth trying to pass the guard but Quid defending well. Quid is trying to maintain the position but Smyth is very close to passing his half guard. Smyth not landing any meaningful shots this time. Quid is trying to stand back up but Smyth is controlling him

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Quid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quid digs a good hook to Smyth's body.
Johnny Quid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Smyth takes a jab right on the kisser.
Quid thows a left - swing and a miss! Quid connects with a leg kick. Smyth looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Quid moves into the clinch. Quid lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Smyth breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quid misses with a straight right. Quid scores with a jab to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smyth fails in his attempt to clinch. Quid throws a leg kick but Smyth checks it. Smyth doesn't manage to clinch there - Quid circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Quid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smyth paws at him with a jab and circles away. Quid tests Smyth's chin there with a solid looking shot. Quid lands with a hook. Smyth tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quid looking to land some kicks to the body here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Quid dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Smyth takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Johnny Quid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smyth looks to clinch and Quid counters with a lovely shot to the body. Quid loads up on a big right hand but Smyth slips the punch. Smyth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Smyth on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Smyth ducks under a wild hook from Quid. Smyth defending well as Quid loads up on a big left hand. Quid is looking to clinch. Quid lands a front kick. Smyth is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smyth finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Quid's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Smyth falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Quid!
