Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wang Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veli Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chung comes to the ring accompanied by Everybody Have Fun Tonight- Wang Chung. Veli Schwarzeneg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wang Chung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 22 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Veli Schwarzeneg!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chung throws a looping overhand right but Schwarzeneg ducks down to avoid it.
Wang Chung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Schwarzeneg moves into the clinch.
Chung is trying to force a seperation but Schwarzeneg has the dominant position.
Chung is trying to push Schwarzeneg away but Schwarzeneg has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Chung breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chung keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Chung looks to throw the jab but Schwarzeneg is out of range.
The fighters circling - Chung throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Schwarzeneg blocks a jab.
Schwarzeneg fails in his attempt to clinch.
Schwarzeneg shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chung defends it nicely.
Chung will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Chung lands with a nice body punch.
Chung throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Schwarzeneg takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Chung throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schwarzeneg stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
No joy there for Chung, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Schwarzeneg gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chung.
Chung connects with the punch.
Schwarzeneg ducks under a wild hook from Chung.

Schwarzeneg moves into the clinch successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Schwarzeneg jumps guard and drags Chung to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Schwarzeneg keeping moving, preventing Chung from controlling successfully.

Chung sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Schwarzeneg's guard.

Chung is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Schwarzeneg doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chung.

Schwarzeneg makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Schwarzeneg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chung.

Schwarzeneg tries to clinch but Chung is having none of it.
Chung lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Chung misses with a jab, cross combination.
Schwarzeneg closes the distance and clinches up with Chung, looking for a takedown. Schwarzeneg pushes Chung against the ropes but Chung circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wang Chung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veli Schwarzeneg.
Schwarzeneg uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chung.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chung is trying to get back to full guard.
Schwarzeneg not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Schwarzeneg sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chung defending well though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Schwarzeneg postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Chung to stand up.
Wang Chung is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chung misses with an uppercut. Schwarzeneg saw that one coming.
Chung lands a jab to the nose.

Schwarzeneg moves into the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Schwarzeneg drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chung gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Schwarzeneg tries for a takedown. No joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wang Chung dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Schwarzeneg misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Schwarzeneg takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Chung bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Schwarzeneg's head.


Schwarzeneg is rocked!

Schwarzeneg gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Schwarzeneg is still on wobbly legs! Can Chung finish him?
Chung wants to break free but Schwarzeneg has control.
Schwarzeneg has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Chung is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Chung working hard to break the clinch.
Chung stops a takedown attempt from Schwarzeneg.
Wang Chung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veli Schwarzeneg.
Schwarzeneg is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Chung gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Chung breaks the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chung keeps the fight on the outside.
Chung comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Chung lands a slapping body shot.
Schwarzeneg seems to have recovered his senses.
Chung walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Schwarzeneg drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Chung swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Schwarzeneg's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wang Chung!
