Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hb Pencil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karim Chamakh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chamakh is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Immortal - Unearthly Kingdom. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hb Pencil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karim Chamakh! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pencil tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chamakh swivels and escapes. Pencil gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chamakh to score an easy takedown into full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Chamakh is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pencil working a defensive guard but Chamakh manages to pass into side control anyway.
You can see the frustration on Pencil's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pencil gets back to half guard. Pencil has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chamakh is working away from the top position though. Pencil looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Chamakh pushes past his half guard into mount! Pencil is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chamakh content just to control the position here. Pencil is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pencil manages to regain half guard. Good work. Chamakh stalling.
We're going to have a standup here because Hb Pencil wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Chamakh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pencil tries to get to full guard but Chamakh has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Karim Chamakh will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Chamakh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pencil.
Chamakh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pencil napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pencil seems a little lost for a moment, as Chamakh dominates the positioning. Pencil is looking to reverse the position. Pencil struggling a bit here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pencil shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chamakh pinned against the cage. Chamakh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pencil looks to land a left hand but Chamakh moved out of range nicely. Pencil closes the distance looking to clinch and Chamakh counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pencil! Karim Chamakh has got the better of the ground game so far. Pencil is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pencil is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pencil really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pencil wants to control but Chamakh is having none of it. Pencil working to try and regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pencil tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chamakh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Chamakh avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Pencil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice takedown defense from Chamakh. No joy for Pencil on that attempt. Pencil rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chamakh moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chamakh checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Karim Chamakh will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
A head kick misses from Pencil. Chamakh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pencil sprawls well. Pencil wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chamakh gets slowly back to his feet. Nice body punch from Pencil. Pencil scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Karim Chamakh has been cut. Hb Pencil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chamakh blocks a jab. Pencil throws a lazy right hand but Chamakh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Pencil misses with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pencil. Chamakh feints and as Pencil raises his hands in defense, Chamakh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Pencil is looking for a triangle but Chamakh pushes his legs off easily.
Chamakh is stalling in the full guard. Pencil isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Chamakh stacks Pencil on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Chamakh! Hb Pencil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pencil sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Pencil tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Pencil wants to improve his position but Chamakh is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pencil makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pencil. Pencil trying to control the position.

Chamakh is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pencil will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pencil is looking for a sweep.
And that's the end of the fight! Hb Pencil showed his dominance in that final round. I think Chamakh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
