The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares works over Iboyan's head and body with a nice combination.
Iboyan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Ares shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ares can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Iboyan is looking to escape.
Ares putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Ares postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Iboyan looks a forlorn figure.
Ares lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ares with a couple of short strikes.
Ares lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Iboyan is squirming around, avoiding Ares's attempts to control the action.
Ares landing punches.
Ares knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Iboyan on the ground.

Ares is landing with some decent strikes but Iboyan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
