The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a two punch combo.
Ivanov looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Ivanov.
Ivanov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silva stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ivanov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ivanov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
Ivanov darts in trying to clinch

and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ivanov tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
Still in the clinch, Silva scores with a nice short uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Ivanov is rocked!
Silva gets through Ivanov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ivanov is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva is stalking Ivanov. Ivanov circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Silva, and it's lights out! Ivanov really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
