Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nanos Perdatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perdatov comes into the arena with Muhammad Ali Speech blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nanos Perdatov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Max Johnson! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Perdatov quickly recovers to half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Johnson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Johnson is controlling the pace.
It looks like Johnson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Perdatov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Perdatov is looking to improve his position.
Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Perdatov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Perdatov has his hands clasped together around Johnson's back. He's all about the action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Max Johnson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perdatov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Perdatov. Perdatov gets slowly back to his feet. Johnson stuffs the takedown. Johnson avoids the body shot from Perdatov.
Perdatov has his takedown stuffed and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nanos Perdatov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Johnson trying to control but Perdatov is having none of it. Perdatov manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perdatov trying to control here.
Johnson controlling the action here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johnson wants to advance to full mount but Perdatov doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perdatov managing to control the position. Johnson wants to control from the top but Perdatov keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Max Johnson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Perdatov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Perdatov's guard. Johnson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Perdatov is controlling Johnson's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perdatov lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Johnson! Johnson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Perdatov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson is trying desperately to improve position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Perdatov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Johnson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Perdatov looking to finish Johnson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Johnson! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Johnson dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Perdatov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Johnson drives through with a takedown into guard. Perdatov looking for a sweep. Not yet Perdatov, not yet. Perdatov trying to control the position here. Johnson wants to control from the top but Perdatov keeps moving. Johnson throws a strike but Perdatov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Perdatov from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perdatov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Perdatov has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted. Johnson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Johnson wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perdatov postures up in Johnson's guard and throws a big left but Johnson blocks it. Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perdatov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Perdatov passes Johnson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson is trying to stand back up but Perdatov is controlling him
Perdatov trying to control the action but Johnson is working from the bottom. Perdatov wants to work for an arm triangle but Johnson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perdatov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Perdatov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Johnson defend it? Perdatov steps over the head and cranks it - Johnson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Perdatov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nanos Perdatov! Nanos Perdatov took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
