The crowd seem to be enjoying Jenkins's choice of entrance music: In The Morning. Steve Jenkins will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Blasko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Blasko misses.
Blasko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blasko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jenkins.
Jenkins goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Jenkins gets a clinch.
Jenkins lands an elbow inside.
Jenkins working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Jenkins pushes Blasko back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Blasko takes a shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenkins stalling against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Blasko fails to land.
Blasko takes an elbow to the forehead.
Jenkins tries to land knees in the clinch but Blasko avoids the damage to the body.
Jenkins gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Jenkins lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Blasko breaks the clinch.
Blasko misses with the body kick
and Jenkins makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Jenkins feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Blasko sprawling to the canvas! Blasko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jenkins finish him?!


Blasko is rocked!
Blasko avoids the head kick by Jenkins.
Oh Blasko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jenkins throws the kick towards the body but Blasko avoids it.
Blasko blocks a head kick by Jenkins.

Blasko rushes Jenkins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Blasko seems to have got his legs back now.
Jenkins softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Blasko has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jenkins uses from the top position.
Jenkins tries to stand but Blasko is controlling from the bottom.
Blasko wants to sweep here but Jenkins controlling him for the moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jenkins showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Jenkins trying to stand up but can't free himself from Blasko's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Steve Jenkins was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jenkins throws a jab but it's blocked by Blasko.
Jenkins wants to clinch up but Blasko keeps it at a distance.
Blasko misses with a body kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Jenkins.

Jenkins takes the fight into the clinch.
Blasko is pushing Jenkins up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jenkins pushes off an throws an elbow but Blasko leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Jenkins lands a right hand that snaps the head of Blasko backwards.
Jenkins scores with a shot to the side of Blasko's head.
Jenkins lands an elbow just above Blasko 's eye.
Blasko's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Jenkins swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A frustrated look appears on Blasko's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Blasko tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jenkins's elbow.
Jenkins lands a shoulder strike.
Jenkins stalling the fight.
Jenkins has a couple of punches blocked by Blasko.
Jenkins misses with a knee to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Blasko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jenkins fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Steve Jenkins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jenkins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jenkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blasko swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jenkins lands a big head kick that sends Blasko tumbling to the mat! Jenkins takes a step backwards and waves Blasko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blasko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jenkins. That's going to slow Blasko down.
Jenkins delivers a nice body kick.
Blasko is breathing heavily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jenkins's jab looks to have found its range, popping Blasko under the eye.
Blasko fails with an attempt to clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jenkins.
Blasko wants to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Jenkins dominated that round.
That's time! Blasko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


A low kick from Blasko misses
and Jenkins counters with an outside leg kick.
Blasko steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jenkins. That one must have hurt.
Blasko takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Jenkins lands a big head kick that sends Blasko tumbling to the mat! Jenkins takes a step backwards and waves Blasko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jenkins throws a head kick but Blasko moves out of range.

Jenkins closes the distance and pushes Blasko back into the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blasko looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jenkins lands an elbow just above Blasko 's eye.
Jenkins digs a right hand underneath Blasko's ribcage. Blasko let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Blasko's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Jenkins pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Blasko! Jenkins unloads with more strikes and Blasko sinks to his knees! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Jenkins!
Steve Jenkins thanked the fans post fight for their support.
