The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Hackney.
Connor catches Hackney with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hackney scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Nyle Connor has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Connor. Those never looked like landing.
Hackney cracks a nice hook into Connor's ribs.

Connor tries to clinch up.
Hackney lands a nice shot that snaps Connor's head back.
Connor throws a right hand that Hackney ducks under and follows up with a left that Hackney also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Connor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hackney lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Connor at a distance.
Connor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hackney manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hackney pushes Connor back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hackney cracks Connor with a nice body shot.
Hackney works on Connor's body with a couple of short punches.

Hackney lands a right hand.
Hackney wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Connor has him pressed against the cage.
Hackney lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Hackney lands a shoulder strike.
Connor is rocked!
Hackney drops Connor onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Connor is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Connor is still on wobbly legs! Can Hackney finish him?
Hackney dips a shoulder and cracks Connor with a mighty uppercut! Connor falls back against the cage and Hackney unloads with a barrage of strikes! Connor is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hackney screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keith Hackney!
