Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pooby Phants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Spackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phants comes to the cage accompanied by Voodoo Chile. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phants scores with a nice right hand.
Phants swings for the body but Spackman moves out of range.
Phants fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spackman manages to avoid it.
Phants connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Phants ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spackman moves away.
Phants is looking to land body kicks.
Spackman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Phants throws a jab when Spackman was well out of range.

Spackman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Phants can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Phants throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Spackman stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Phants follows into mount!

Spackman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Spackman is squirming around, avoiding Phants's attempts to control the action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Phants will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Phants refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Phants's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
