And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gsp Silva!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a takedown
and Coach counters with a straight right hand.
Coach throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Coach. That's going to slow Silva down.
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Coach connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silva with a lazy takedown attempt
and Coach counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
James Coach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gsp Silva.
Silva misses with a takedown
and Coach counters with a nice low kick that buckles Silva's knee momentarily.
Coach lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Silva with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Silva looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Coach goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
James Coach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coach lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Coach comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Coach lands the left hand.
Coach connects with a single shot there.
Coach works Silva's body with a nice hook.
Coach scores with a jab. Silva acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coach cracks the inside of Silva's front leg.
Coach feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.
Silva takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A cross from Coach lands.


Silva is rocked!
Coach thuds a left hand into Silva's body.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Coach finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva ducks into an uppercut from Coach and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
