Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Schwetty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Samuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuel has chosen Pray For Me as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pete Schwetty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jorge Samuel!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwetty tries to bum rush Samuel with a series of wild strikes but Samuel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Schwetty stalks Samuel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Samuel's face. Samuel staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Jorge Samuel has been cut.
Samuel fails with the takedown.
Samuel dives in and grabs Schwetty's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schwetty pushes down on Samuel's head and hops out.
Schwetty closes the distance and pushes Samuel back into the ropes.
Schwetty lands a hook to the side of the head.
Schwetty is trying to break the clinch but Samuel has him pressed against the ropes.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Schwetty.
Schwetty lands a body punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A short right hand to the side of the head by Schwetty.
Schwetty working hard to break the clinch.
Schwetty wants to break free but Samuel has control.
Samuel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Schwetty swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Schwetty tries to clinch but Samuel is having none of it.
Samuel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schwetty sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Samuel somewhat.
Pete Schwetty has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorge Samuel.
Schwetty lands a big right hand that sends Samuel crashing to the mat! Schwetty stays standing though and waves Samuel back to his feet!
Samuel is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Schwetty has Samuel up against the ropes in a clinch.
Samuel is still on wobbly legs! Can Schwetty finish him?
Schwetty lands a body punch in the clinch.
Schwetty escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Schwetty catches Samuel with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Samuel forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pete Schwetty!
