Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kris Mines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kris Mines looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fury fails with a takedown attempt. Mines looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Fury misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mines slaps away a takedown attempt from Fury, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kris Mines has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Fury. Mines shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fury is trying to defend but Mines finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fury flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Fury tries to get to full guard but Mines has control of the leg. Mines stops Fury from getting back to his feet.
Fury is refusing to be controlled, as Mines sits in half guard. Mines frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Mines is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fury to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fury shrugs it off. Mines jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fury manages to avoid the submission attempt. Fury tries to escape but Mines is in control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. You can see the frustration on Fury's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kris Mines will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fury has a takedown stuffed. Kris Mines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fury doesn't manage to clinch there - Mines circles away.
Mines shoots in looking for a takedown. Fury tries to sprawl out of it but Mines keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fury manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fury fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Mines moves in looking to clinch but Fury pushes him off. Fury scores with a head kick.
It looks like Kris Mines has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fury clinches up with Mines and pushes him back against the cage. Fury escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fury stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Mines stuffs the takedown attempt from Fury. Fury gets slowly back to his feet. Fury shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mines pinned against the cage. Mines gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mines is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fury sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mines stuffs the takedown attempt from Fury. Fury gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fury tries for a takedown but Mines sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mines misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fury. Mines shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fury sprawls well. Fury wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mines gets slowly back to his feet. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mines crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fury - the referee stops the clock and Mines gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fury. Mines manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Mines shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fury as he avoids it easily. Fury throws a head kick that half lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fury instigates a clinch. Fury pulls guard effortlessly. Mines wants to control from the top but Fury keeps moving. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fury can do anything to dispel that myth. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Kris Mines just wasn't active enough. Fury scores with a nice strike. Fury shoots in but Mines avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Fury showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kris Mines's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fury winds up and cracks Mines with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Mines is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Fury tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Mines throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fury trying to pass the guard but Mines defending well. Mines pushes Fury off and gets back to his feet. Fury has closed the distance and engaged Mines in a clinch.

Fury shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fury won't allow Mines to get back to his feet. Mines is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fury wants to stand but Mines has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mines looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mines thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Mines wants to stand and escape but Fury is having none of it. Mines looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fury is one step ahead there. Fury must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fury trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fury with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Fury trying to control but Mines is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mines is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fury defends well. Fury got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mines has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fury has managed to get both his arms back between Mines's legs - danger averted.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Fury comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fury has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
