The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krugman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Halme's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krugman tries to free his leg and advance position but Halme is retaining full guard.

Halme is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Halme has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krugman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Halme has his foot on Krugman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krugman works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Krugman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Halme with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
