Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rila Kuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaksin Yodsuwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thaksin Yodsuwan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rila Kuma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thaksin Yodsuwan! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yodsuwan misses with a hook. Yodsuwan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Kuma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yodsuwan moves away. Yodsuwan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Yodsuwan looks to land a combination but Kuma avoids it well. Kuma looks to score with a jab to the body but Yodsuwan is just out of range. Kuma throws out a loose jab but Yodsuwan uses good head movement to avoid it. Yodsuwan throws a head kick that misses. Kuma blocks a leg kick. Kuma scores with a punch to the head. Yodsuwan avoids the body shot from Kuma.
Kuma bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Kuma shoots in but Yodsuwan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kuma blocks a low kick nicely. Kuma throws a shot from downtown. Yodsuwan moves away and avoids it. Yodsuwan drives through and clinches with Kuma against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yodsuwan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yodsuwan can't find room to land a body shot as Kuma controls the action.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kuma looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Yodsuwan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Yodsuwan misses with a short punch on the inside. A left hand lands to the body for Yodsuwan.
Yodsuwan lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Yodsuwan is leaning against Kuma and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Yodsuwan content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Yodsuwan keeps control of Kuma as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kuma tries for a takedown but Yodsuwan manages to get underhooks.
Kuma is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Yodsuwan scores with a shoulder strike. Yodsuwan landing knees to the head.
Yodsuwan throws a head punch that misses. Yodsuwan tries to land a knee to the head but Kuma blocks with his arms.
Yodsuwan throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kuma blocks it with crossed arms. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kuma tries to break free but Yodsuwan pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuma has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Yodsuwan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rila Kuma. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kuma managing to block the knees to the body from Yodsuwan.
Yodsuwan lands with a right to the head. Kuma is working for takedown but Yodsuwan is calmly controlling the position for now. Yodsuwan leaning his opponent against the cage. Yodsuwan lands with a short shot to the head. Yodsuwan has Kuma pushed against the cage. Yodsuwan with an attempt at a knee that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuma letting Yodsuwan take a breather here. Yodsuwan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kumas head. Yodsuwan stalling.

Kuma breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Thaksin Yodsuwan dominated that round. That's time! Kuma's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kuma stalks Yodsuwan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Yodsuwan's face. Yodsuwan staggers backwards, shaken. Kuma blocks a jab. Yodsuwan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Yodsuwan throws a lazy right hand but Kuma sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice sprawl there from Yodsuwan as Kuma shoots in. Yodsuwan scores with a leg kick.
Kuma cracks Yodsuwan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Thaksin Yodsuwan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yodsuwan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Yodsuwan throws a nice outside leg kick. Yodsuwan missing with a left hand there. Kuma was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kuma just misses with a punch to the body.
Kuma fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yodsuwan avoids it really well and circles away. Yodsuwan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kuma's head.
It looks like Rila Kuma has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Kuma shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kuma looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuma trying to advance position but Yodsuwan counters by regaining guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Yodsuwan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kuma. Kuma won't allow Yodsuwan to get back to his feet. Kuma working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Yodsuwan keeping moving, preventing Kuma from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kuma accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kuma postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Yodsuwan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kuma, into his guard. Kuma looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yodsuwan wanted to stand there but Kuma had control of the position. Kuma has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yodsuwan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Yodsuwan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kuma is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yodsuwan stands up from Kuma's guard - Yodsuwan perhaps looking for a knockout. Kuma wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Yodsuwan dips to his left and cracks Kuma with an uppercut! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kuma ducks under a wild hook from Yodsuwan. Yodsuwan instigates a clinch. Yodsuwan is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kuma is keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Thaksin Yodsuwan will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Rila Kuma's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Yodsuwan lands with an uppercut that bounces Kuma off the cage and back into range. Kuma shoots for a takedown but Yodsuwan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Yodsuwan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kuma. Kuma lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Yodsuwan has managed to clinch.

Yodsuwan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rila Kuma. That's going to take a lot out of him. That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Thaksin Yodsuwan. Kuma drives through with a takedown into guard. Kuma drops back looking for a leg! Yodsuwan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yodsuwan manages to kick Kuma off! Kuma jumps back into Yodsuwan's guard. Yodsuwan wants to stand but Kuma is controlling the position. Rila Kuma has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Thaksin Yodsuwan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kuma trying to move into half guard but instead Yodsuwan has managed to sweep!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuma is looking for a triangle but Yodsuwan pushes his legs off easily.
Kuma is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kuma is working hard here to advance position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kuma working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yodsuwan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yodsuwan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Yodsuwan stands and steps away. Kuma gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that's the end of the fight! Thaksin Yodsuwan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Yodsuwan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
